ARISE Fashion Week 2019 opened with a bang on Friday, 19 April 2019, with top designers, high profile guests and hundreds of fashionistas converging at the Lagos Continental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos for the revered fashion week.

Kicking off with Fashion Talks featuring the likes of Naomi Campbell, Andre Leon Talley, Reni Folawiyo, Ituen Bassey and other local/international public figures, a-list models oozed fierce sophistication while strutting down the runway in jaw-dropping designs.

Selam Fessahaye is a Swedish stylist turned designer, who debuted her first collection at Stockholm’s SS19 fashion week, Fessahaye became an instant sansation for having the most diverse show in Stockholm’s SS19 fashion week history and simply for her deisgns.

For Her AFW presentation, Fessahaye kept the audience on their toes with her whimsical prints and playful silhouettes influenced by 18th century and Orientalist influences.
