Tiwa Savage is set to release her third studio album ‘CELIA’ on Friday August 28 and prepping us up to the day, the singer recently unveiled a vast range of looks with a mix of established and emerging Nigerian designers.
Styled by creative geniuses, Daniel Obasi and temitope Uduak, She paid homage to the Nigerian culture while pulling off show-stopping looks for the album’s music videos. Few talented brands, she opted for includes Deola Sagoe, Tokyo James, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi among others.
So let’s appreciate some of the styling and beauty looks from forthcoming project.
Look #1: Tokyo James
Let’s begin with this bold red look made by Tokyo which fits in which featured a buttoned-down dress paired with a corset top, matching boots and a larger-than-life hat. Although we don’t know which video the look is from, we can guarantee proper slayage was done for it.
Look #2: Banke Kuku
Tiwa is no stranger to this brand whose designs is known for its Parrot prints. She opted for three different oversized Pyjamas in seeprate scenes for the music video of her lead single Koroba.
Look #3: Lanre Da Silva Ajayi
Tiwa chose this custom LDA look for her US TV debut on Jimmy Fallon. According to the stylist Daniel, the colour and volume of the outfit perfectly match the soulful Dangerous Love song.
Look #4: Bridget Awosika
Tiwa wore a stunning blazer dress from Bridget Awosika’s Autumn/Winter 2019 collection which is undoubtedly one of her best looks.
Look #5: Deola Sagoe
Celebrated Nigerian brand Deola Sagoe dressed Tiwa in its famous Iro and Buba which the songstress herself noted as “CLASSSSS”
Look #6: Turfah
Tiwa stunned in this electric blue ruffle ensemble by fast-rising label Turfah as an accompanying look in her Koroba video. The look featured a statement-making gele worn. Straight fire!
Look #7: Torlowei
For another look in Koroba, Tiwa looked like a nothern bride in raw silk turban, French lace Bubu, silk chiffon and French lace scarf. A look!
