The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and his arch-rival, Nyesom Wike exchanged handshakes and promised to sheath their swords ahead of the Senatorial/House of Representatives re-run elections in Rivers State.
The two friends-turned-enemies made the resolve at a peace meeting organised by the Acting Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and DG of the Department of State Service, Musa Daura.
The pair promised to play by the rules and also prevail on their supporters to be peaceful during and after the re-run elections.
