On Sunday May 28, 2017, Eko Hotels Convention Centre witnessed what is undisputedly the best comedy show of the season, the 9^th edition of “Yaw Live on Stage’ series titled APERE.

The highlight of the evening was a professionally acted hilarious stage play featuring Yaw and Sound Sultan. The play touched various aspects of the sad state of the Nigerian economy and several topics that have trended on social media over the months.

The stage was also graced by the top comedians and musicians in Nigeria including Funny bone, Kenny Blaq, Emma Oh My God, Woli Arole, 2face, Tiwa Savage, Skales, 9ice, Solid Star, Humblesmith, TJan, Duncan Mighty. Other notable personalities in attendance include, Major Al Mustapha, Abimbola Fashola, Alibaba and Mary Akpobome, Saheed Balogun, Iyabo Ojo.
