Menswear Style Inspiration: A Page Off The Runway, How To Rock Nigerian Designers

It’s time again for our style inspiration picks of the week, and going through the archives we noticed that almost all our style inspirations have been for ladies. Well, we love for our men to look dapper and it always helps to push them in the right direction sometimes too. A little shove into looking svelte with inspiration to boost is always good.

From the recently concluded GTBank’s Lagos Fashion & Design Week there were a number of Nigerian designers who focus on male fashion too and we have picked out 4 looks that can serve as inspiration for the men.

The Suit is a fashion item in every man’s wardrobe that cannot be avoided. It is a much needed fashion clothing and has to be worn in the very best way possible.

Every man needs an opportunity once in a while to simply kick back and relax in a casual setting. It could be at home, or for a casual day out with friends, but whatever it is, you can rely on one of our favourite looks from the Runway.

Mai Atafo – Print Inspiration

A pop of colour or a burst of print is always acceptable for fashionable men. Admittedly, not everyone is confident enough for a full-on splash of prints, but you can always “dot” it in the tie, pocket square, blazer and more.

Okunoren Twins – Beach Inspiration

The Beach is such a huge escape in Lagos these days, and now that Nigerian brand by the Okunoren Twins is focusing on beachwear, the men have no excuse to not be fashionable.
