Nigerian business women continue to do us proud on a global level and it’s one thing to be proud of them and another to appreciate them.
Recently, the trio Folake Folarin Coker (Tiffany Amber), Tara Fela-Durotoye (House Of Tara) and Ola Orekunrin (The Flying Doctors) were honoured by Forbes online magazine in a “20 Young Power Women In Africa 2013” list compiled by Farai Gundan.

Their annual “20 Young Power African Women” list illuminates the brightest stars and Africa’s most outstanding female game changers. According to them, they enlisted a group of young, professional African women to help identify the most innovative, courageous, daring and successful young women aged 45 and under. It is a subjective list, no doubt, but it’s the closest you will get to a definitive list.
Other people on the list include Lupita Nyong’o (Kenyan Actress), Isabel Dos Santos (Angolan Investor), Vera Songwe (Cameroonian Country Director, World Bank), and much more. You can check out the full list here
