ZED-EYE To Showcase On Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model 2011 At London’s Excel Centre

ZED-EYE is fashion label and lifestyle brand that redefines the modern representation of femininity through the use of structural excellence, warm colour palettes, sophisticated fabrics, intercultural visual narratives and dynamic designs. The label will be making its debut at Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model (BINTM) Live show, the ultimate Girls Day Out London shopping experience from Friday October 28th to Sunday October 30th 2011 at EXCEL London.

The talented creative mind behind the label, Nigerian born designer NgoziPere-Okorotie who hails from the Igbo tribe of the country, is a graduate of London College of Fashion and Central St Martins. She takes inspiration from fashion pioneers Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. The synergy between a fashionably talented woman and the lure of the fashion capital was an inevitable union considering that Ngozi originally studied to become an accountant.

Nigeria and Ngozi’s passion for designing beautiful garments stems from early childhood memories of her mother&#39s fashion academy. Constantly surrounded by fabric, colour and patterns she romanticised and was encapsulated into the world of fashion long before she embarked on her successful career as a fashion designer. One life-changing moment that stands out to her is learning how to use a measuring tape at the tender age of six.

ZED-EYE operates in the realm of the commercial fashion industry and specializes in bespoke couture and ready to wear pieces currently catering to the womenswear market with a keen focus on the high street market and producing ranges 4-6 times a year alongside a biannual couture collection sold in vintage boutiques as well as online on ASOS Marketplace in the UK and internationally. Having successfully showcased her designs at Clothes Show London 2010,

ZED-EYE’s signature is the innovative use of patterns juxtaposed with tribal prints to create alternative fashion themes that represent the evolution of fashion.

This is a label that stands out from the mainstream and appeals to the contemporary woman by establishing a fine balance across style, originality, quality  and creativity at competitive prices.

ZED-EYE was officially launched in 2006 and was shortlisted to exhibit at the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum in 2007 on the ‘Kulture to Couture’ (K2C) platform advocated by leading fashion industry professionals Naomi Cambell, Alec wek, American Entrepreneur Damon Dash and The Mayor of London at the time Ken Livingstone.

The Brand has grown immensely since then and its creator Ngozi has gone on to work with celebrity clients including International recording Artist Kelis, ShingaiShoniwa (Noisettes), TasminEggerton, celebrity hairdresser Tara Smith, Naetto C &GeneviveNnaji to name a few.

As a result of her captivating collections ‘Stanantism’and ‘Tribal Romance spring /summer 2010’ coupled with trend setting designs that fuse African prints with high-fashion, vintage and the Victorian era of style to create a unique juxtaposition of alternative fashion themes, this talented designer has demonstrated the viability of her brand and vision through growing public demand and industry recognition which has led to ZED- EYE being published in the London Metro, Grazia magazine, Pride Magazine, VOUGUE online  and ELLE.

Participate in the amazing BINTM experience and purchase your own unique collection of ZED- EYE Pieces at STAND F314 whilst rubbing shoulder with the stars at this exciting 3day event.
